The ASB Innovation Awards program celebrates industry leaders and companies in the grain based food industry for their innovative development and implementation of leading edge products, equipment design and advancements in ingredient technology.

Saginaw, Michigan June 19, 2014 – Banner‐Day and Joseph M. Day Company announce the addition of Mike Bismack as Electrical Controls Engineer. Experienced in programing of PLC, HMI, automation and safety systems, including database and network communications. Mike brings strength to our team with his overall controls experience and will be directly involved with Bakery, Pipe Heating and Boiler projects.

Saginaw, Michigan February 21, 2011 – Banner-Day announced organizational changes in the business aligning its structure with the company’s emphasis on growth and efficiency to deliver more value to its customers in bakery oven controls and services, as well as pipe heating systems.

As most of you know, the NFPA 86 Standard for Ovens and Furnaces is the primary standard in the US governing the safety of the fuel (natural gas or propane) delivery and ignition systems on bakery ovens. Like most NFPA standards, it is revised on a 3 to 4 year cycle, with the most current revision (2011) becoming effective on August 25, 2010.
